A Visit to the High-Rise Offices at Wangjing SOHO: The Real Experience Behind a Lowered Curtain

Published: 2026-10-07

The curved glass facade is what defines Wangjing SOHO — and what exposes its window-side areas to more direct sun on clear days. A curved facade means a larger sunlit surface, and desks in different orientations can all fall into the sun’s path.

The video starts from the lobby and moves up to the high-rise office area. You can see that with the curtain lowered, direct light above window-side desks is softened and no obvious glare remains on desks or screens; looking through the curtain, the outlines of surrounding towers and the sky are still clear, and natural daylight in the office still supports everyday work.

Curved glass makes installation more demanding: the curtain track must follow the curved window frame so the film stays flat when lowered and hidden when retracted. The video shows both the installation and the daily use. The project’s written case has already been published on our website; this video adds moving footage of it in use.

For curved facades and irregular windows that conventional shading products struggle to cover, the video offers a reference example: look at the site first, then decide the solution — the team can provide an on-site survey, confirming surface by surface according to facade shape and orientation.
