Beijing · Guocuiyuan Short-Drama Studio: When content creation meets “Sun overload”

Pain points

  • A full glass window wall on the west side, direct afternoon sun, severe screen reflections, color grading and footage review “Guesswork”
  • Even with the air conditioning set to 22°C it stays stuffy, and electricity bills run high

Solution

  • Engineers visit on site to measure, and an ESEC energy-saving insulating window curtain is fitted to every west-facing pane
  • Interior ceiling-mounted installation that leaves the glass undamaged and no adhesive residue. Uniform green workwear, completion within hours.

Results

  • Indoor temperature reduced by about 5°C, NIR blocked by 90%+, UV blocked by 99%
  • Harsh light becomes soft light, screens no longer reflect, and air-conditioning energy consumption drops by 30%+
  • One-way visibility: the courtyard is clearly visible from inside, while the interior cannot be seen from outside — keeping script material more secure
  • The window curtain sits in perfect harmony with the grey-tiled walls and red-brick Chinese facade, without compromising its architectural beauty.
“The sunlight is still there, but the heat and harsh glare have been quietly kept outside the window.”—— Client feedback at on-site acceptance
Office Building · Shot in the Same Frame

Nanjing · Jingshi Office Building: one room, half soft light and half harsh glare

Shot at the Jingshi office building in Nanjing: the left window has the curtain and the light is soft, the right window does not and the glare is harsh Untreated Side · Harsh, Glaring Sun
Shot at the Jingshi office building in Nanjing: the whole room installed, with soft light throughout After Installation · Soft and Comfortable

Shot in the same private office at the same moment: the treated side is evenly lit and soft, while the untreated side is washed out by direct sunlight. No instruments needed — the difference is plain to the eye.

Office Towers · Energy Retrofit

Government & Corporate Offices: Shutting Out the Curtain-Wall Energy Drain

Pain points

  • Glass curtain walls set daylighting against temperature control — stuffy and glaring in summer, losing heat in winter
  • Air conditioning runs at full load year-round, keeping operating energy costs stubbornly high

Solution

  • Insulating view-through shading window curtain system: high light transmission and high-efficiency insulation in one
  • Compatible with roller blinds and other mounting configurations, with no changes to the existing building structure

Results

  • Reflects 88% of solar radiant heat and improves curtain wall U-value by 30%
  • Overall annual energy savings of 30%–50%, Cooling setpoint can be raised by about 3°C
  • B1 flame-retardant · zero formaldehyde · approx. 600 g/㎡ · 15+ year service life
Fortune 500 · Finished Interiors

Hotel Guest Rooms · Curved Curtain Wall

Hotel guest room project: turning west-facing rooms into “View rooms”

Hotel guest room before installation: bare windows with direct west-facing sun Before Installation · Direct West-Facing Sun
Hotel guest room after installation: with the window curtain lowered, the light is soft and clear After Installation · Clear and Comfortable

Half-lowered window curtain on a curved floor-to-ceiling curtain wall: heat and glare stay outside the glass, bedding no longer feels scorching, and the city view remains clear — the room that drew complaints now earns praise.
