The summer meeting-room dilemma is one almost every office manager has met: pull the blind and the west sun is gone but so is the light, so meetings need the lights on; open it and the room is bright but the sun hits the conference table and the window-side seats become unbearable. Cool or bright — it seems you can only pick one.
The video uses this meeting room as an example: a radiant-cooling film curtain (blue) is fitted on the inner side of the glass. With it lowered, there is no direct glare on the table, the light at window-side seats is softened, and trees and buildings outside can still be made out through the curtain — no more weighing up blinds against lights during a meeting.

In principle, this type of film handles solar radiant heat by reflection, turning heat back before it enters the room, while letting part of the visible light through and softening the rest — brightness and coolness need not be a trade-off.
For spaces with high lighting demands such as meeting rooms and discussion areas, the video offers an intuitive reference: when selecting, beyond insulation figures it is worth comparing actual daytime daylight under the same lighting conditions — how a film behaves in sunlight says more than a spec sheet.
