ESEC2.5 instead uses spectrally selective reflection against near-infrared heat while keeping 10% visible-light transmission, so insulation, daylight and the view coexist: lower it to cool down, and the scenery outside stays clear.

How does it actually affect the air conditioning? How much can it save?

Neither. ESEC2.5 mounts on the outer side, is lightweight and leaves the original curtain wall structure unchanged. A typical space is finished in one day, with night or weekend scheduling — normal office work is barely affected.

We already have Low-E glass — is extra shading still needed?
